Wednesday, June 6, 2007, 8 PM A Concert by Candlelight An outdoor concert on the lawns of the beautiful Billings Estate National Historic Site. Travel Back to the Time of the Harlem Renaissance Authentic music and dance of the 1920s performed by the IJO's eight-piece hot jazz combo and twelve-piece dance orchestra and dancers from the Swing Dynamite Dance Company. Featuring the music of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Fletcher Henderson, Jelly Roll Morton, Johnny Dodds, Jimmie Lunceford, and King Oliver.
