Kelman was spot on when he wrote about our Artistic Director's intentions. Presenting music in context has always been one of the primary goals of the IJO. Frrom the outset our Artistic Director, Adrian Cho, has sought to deliver education in many forms. Whether it is through commentary, programme notes, listening parties, talks, or coaching developing ensembles and musicians, Cho and the musicians of the IJO are on a mission to educate people about jazz-centric music and its rich history.
